“Drupal for NGOs” is the bi-monthly bash held at Amnesty International in London and as the title suggests, it’s all about encouraging NGOs to harness Drupal powa!

There were 3 presentations interspersed with plenty of friendly banter, wine and nibbles. The focus? Creating powerful intranets with Drupal.

DrupalCamp UK is on the 13th and 14th of June, yay!!! The first of its kind in the UK, the event is being hosted by the BBC at their Broadcasting House on Oxford Road, Manchester. Hey, we've been busy writing our Drupal 6 courses and are very happy to announce we'll be running three all new Drupal 6 courses in Manchester UK early next year!

We're planning an 'Introduction to Drupal 6' course in January 2009, followed by a 'Theming in Drupal 6' in March 2009 and to complete the set we'll be doing 'Developing for Drupal 6' in May 2009.

We're excited to announce that menusandblocks will be speaking at the very first North West PHP conference!

Hey folks, we're speeding towards November, the month of the year in which friends and relatives buy me socks and hankies but more notable this year because of the first North West PHP conference!

The excitement is building (drum rolls), we're fast approaching our Intro to Drupal course taking place next Wednesday 9th April at MDDA Manchester!

During the course of the day we'll be taking you through all the key information about installing, configuring and building a Drupal site.

The half hour or so James and I spent in Caffe Nero across from the MEN offices was vital... we supped mocha, made last minute adjustments to the slides and spent a few nervous moments in the toilet - not together I hasten to add!

The idea to get the talk done in the first slot proved to be a good game plan, it meant we could relax and enjoy the rest of the day! Were we nervous? You bet, did it show? You bet, did we enjoy it? You bet we did!
